Hercules defeats the Bebryces!
So fam friends and fans, the blog is back. Sorry to take so long to post something. We are about 5 days into the tour and I’ve just been able to find enough time and peace to write a blog. This leg differs from the last leg. The last leg was by bus through the UK. This leg is by planes *sigh* and mostly in Europe, which is turning out to be a lot of hard work (also, everywhere charges for internet!). About 1/4 of my time so far has been spent on planes, in cars or at airports. I actually haven’t gotten more than 4 hrs of sleep in one sitting since I left for Europe. Also, this time, I have my own digital camera! So expect more pics!
Just to fill you in (because these five days have been crazy busy so far) Hercules has played Sonar in Barcelona, the Arts Festival in Faro Portugal. By far the most beautiful place with amazing food. We’ve had one day off in Faro and it has blown my mind. It’s hot, but a dry breezy heat with nice beaches right on the Mediterranean. I swam all day, even saw a baby garr pike! But that’s over with. Now, I’m in Arendal, Norway. Very friendly gracious and nice people here. It’s within the arctic circle and quite similar to Seattle. Similar people, climate, flora & fauna. Little fact: sunset tonight was at 12:30 and sunrise is going to be at about 4:00 but light breaks at 2:00 am. Crazy right? This whole festival is about celebrating these crazy long days and the Norwegians know how to celebrate. Well, I’m off peeps. I have a busy day ahead.
Ha det Venns!
